Encourage your child to communicate in full sentences, using connectives to elaborate their thoughts and ideas clearly.
Teach them to follow the Golden Rules and routines, showing care for themselves, others, and the environment.
Help them select and manipulate tools effectively, such as using a pen to write their name with their dominant hand.
Engage them in story times with longer texts, discussing themes, favourite characters, and events with increasing detail.
Involve them in solving real-world problems within the number 5.
Foster a love for nature through hands-on experiences like planting seeds and caring for minibeasts during our Forest School sessions.
Support their ability to sustain and adapt pretend play with others, incorporating elements from well-known stories and learning themes.
Every child is unique and learns at their own pace. It’s perfectly normal for your child to work towards these goals one step at a time. Our bespoke curriculum is designed to support children from babies to five years and beyond, ensuring they achieve their full potential.

We understand that starting school is a significant change for both children and their families. If you have any concerns or questions, please speak to your child’s Key Person or our Curriculum Manager, Miss Danny. We offer regular drop-in sessions and online workshops throughout the year to discuss child development and school readiness. Our school readiness session will take place in September and will do so every year. Please enquire with the management team if you are interested in attending.

By nurturing their communication, language, physical, personal, social, and emotional skills, we lay the foundation for their future academic success.
